You're Invited

Everyone is invited to take part in Love Abbotsford. We encourage you to participate through a local church. If you're not sure if your church is involved, call your church office. If you don't attend a local church, explore Abbotsford churches here.

Picture this - a kindness explosion!

Imagine someone driving down a street in your city on a Saturday morning and this happens - they receive a free Coke from Christians handing out free drinks at a couple of intersections, they get their car washed by more Christians conducting free car-washes throughout the city, they get a free hot dog and coke downtown, and along the way they see folks picking up garbage wearing the same white T-shirts with a big red heart on the back. All just to show God's love - no strings attached.

Cards

Pick up Love Abbotsford cards from your local church and give them out when performing "practical acts of kindness" in the community. If you don't have cards, contact us and we'll get you some.

T-shirts

Pick up a Love Abbotsford t-shirts from your local church. Be sure to wear it when taking part in "practical acts of kindness" in the community. If you don't have a Love Abbotsford t-shirt, contact us and ask how you can get one.

The idea

The idea is to saturate a community with God's love - expressed by many practical acts of kindness - with a massive co-ordinated explosion of kindness that results in literally thousands of lives being touched.

The many churches of Abbotsford that are taking part in this event, are trying to accomplish more than just doing nice things for people. We are expressing God's love in practical ways, either by meeting a need through a small gift or by a humble act of service.
