We meet on the SECOND Saturday of every month to show God's love in practical ways in our city. Anyone is free to come. We meet at 10:30 am at the gravel parking lot between the Library and City Hall (Tretheway entrance). This monthly event is sponsored by a local church - Abbotsford Vineyard.

Some Typical LA-M Projects

Hot Dog Give-away
We set up shop at a strip mall in Abbotsford and hand out free hot dogs and drinks.

Hot Chocolate or Coke Give-away
We set up at an intersection or at sporting events and hand out hundreds of drinks for free!

Flower Give-away
Great one for families with small children! We hand out cut flowers to people anywhere.

Free Car Wash
If the weather is favourable, we sometimes wash cars for free--no donations accepted! That always gets people. Why are we doing it, if we're not raising money for something? Well, we're just letting people know that God loves them, and that his love is free.

What Do We Say?

Here are a few simple responses for when someone asks why we're doing this.

We're just trying to show God's love in a practical way.

It's free to show you that God's love is free!

We think if Jesus were here today, this is something he would be doing.

We are not about "marketing" our church. We give a card so they have a place to connect if they desire, but our goal is to present Christ in a tangible way--expressing grace, love and mercy.
